Fueled by lodging taxes, cooperative advertising, and grants, Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County promotes and develops the region as a premier vacation, meeting, sport, and group destination. 

OUR ROLE

In Destination Marketing, we actively advertise, promote, and sponsor activities to attract visitors, stimulate spending, and bolster the economy, targeting those arriving from 70 miles or more away. 

In Destination Management, we go beyond typical tourism considerations, addressing issues like parking, wayfinding, workforce, transportation, and safety. Through collaboration with local stakeholders, including authorities, businesses, residents, and community groups, we collectively enhance lives through travel while meeting the expectations set during destination marketing.

Each January, Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County hosts its Annual Event, a celebration of achievements in tourism marketing and development.
