Thursday Night Dixie Hotel Jazz

The Dixie Hotel was once part of the business district of the Annapolis Clay Street Community where famous personalities entertained standing-room-only crowds at nightclubs and hotels. Billie Holiday and Cab Calloway are two of the famous performers that played the Turk Lounge at the Dixie Hotel. The hotel along with most of the Clay Street business district was torn down and replaced with the Whitmore Parking Garage, Park and Government office buildings.

Every other Thursday evening is Dixie Hotel Jazz Night, featuring free concerts of Jazz, R&B and Blues.

  • June 08 - Michael McHenry Tribe
  • June 22 - Rumba Club
  • July 06 - Lifetime Band & Show
  • July 20 - Higher Hands

Bring chairs and/or blankets to relax on and enjoy an evening of Dixie Hotel Jazz.

Admission: Free
