Annapolis

If you choose to head to Annapolis’ bustling City Dock, you’ll step ashore and immediately find yourself in the middle of a beautiful, historic seaport city. Once a colonial capital city, Annapolis retains much of the charm and many of the physical landmarks that first attracted visitors. There’s the Maryland State House, the oldest in continuous legislative use, whose iconic dome can be glimpsed from a distance. An equally impressive historic site is the Naval Academy, preparing naval officers since the 1800s. Across the street is St. John’s College, an institution renowned globally for its emphasis on the exploration of classic literature. Throughout the walkable city, friendly pubs and restaurantsart galleries, boutique shops, and more await your discovery.

Eastport

Eastport

The Spa Creek Drawbridge connects Annapolis to Eastport, a fun and laid-back community that feels a lot like a beach town. With its marinas, water sport outfitters, and neighborhood pubs and restaurants where local sailors congregate year-round, it’s no wonder Eastport has been described as a “gentrified waterman’s enclave”. If this sounds appealing, come and check it out for yourself.
